Know the Rules for Your Move in Romania
An EU Community licence from the Romanian Road Authority, with a certified copy in every vehicle, for domestic and international moves alike.
Before you rely on this
Romania is an EU member state and licenses road haulage at the company level under EU rules. The company that operates the vehicles needs to be authorized as a road transport operator and hold a Community licence from the Romanian Road Authority (ARR), with a certified copy of the licence carried in each vehicle. Romania uses this licence for domestic carriage for hire as well as international carriage. There is no Romanian ownership requirement. Always confirm current requirements directly before hiring a mover.
