Consumer Issue Support System
A fair, simple and transparent way to resolve issues between you and your IAMTrusted Mover.
What the CISS Is
IAMTrusted Movers want every move to go smoothly. If something goes wrong, our Consumer Issue Support System (CISS) provides a fair, simple and transparent way to resolve issues between you and your IAMTrusted Mover.
A bounded process, start to finish
You submit your case. Your mover is notified immediately.
Your mover must respond, or the case goes to our Admin Team.
The self-resolution window closes. If the case has not resolved, alternate dispute resolution options remain open.
From filing to closure
- 1Select Your Mover
Begin by searching our directory to confirm that your mover is an IAMTrusted Moving Company. If eligible, you may proceed to file your dispute.
- 2Submit Your Dispute
Complete the dispute form with your mover's name, move dates, origin, destination and a description of the issue. Once you click Submit, your case is created and your mover is notified immediately. You will receive a case number and a secure link by email to track your case.
- 3Mover Responds (within 10 days)
Your mover must respond within 10 calendar days of receiving the case notification. If they do not respond, the case will be reviewed by our Admin Team.
- 4Resolution Window (up to 30 days)
Starting from the day you submit your case (when your mover is notified), a 30-day self-resolution period begins. During this period, you and your IAMTrusted Mover will make a good faith effort to resolve the issue.
- 5After day 30
If the case is successfully resolved your ITM will record the details of the resolution in the CISS. You will receive an email asking you to acknowledge that you are satisfied with the resolution that has been recorded by your ITM.
If no resolution is reached after 30 days, all alternate dispute resolution options remain available. In both cases, the CISS will mark the respective outcome and the case will be considered closed.
