Know the Rules for Your Move in Jordan

A road carrier licence from the Land Transport Regulatory Commission, held by a company that is majority Jordanian-owned.

Before you rely on this

Jordan licenses the business of carrying goods by road at the company level. The company that operates the trucks needs a carrier licence from the Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC), with conditions on capital, a bank guarantee, premises, management, and fleet. Non-Jordanian ownership of a road freight business must stay below 50%. International moves can also require cross-border road permits or a freight forwarding licence. Always confirm current requirements directly before hiring a mover.
