This creates a genuinely self-enforcing compliance loop rather than insurance being a separate matter checked only at renewal. Registration itself now runs indefinitely rather than expiring on a fixed date, maintained instead through periodic revalidation. On the consumer side, Brazil’s general Consumer Protection Code applies, backed by a genuinely useful free federal complaint platform that gives consumers direct recourse against a registered company without needing to go through a lawyer or the courts.
