Know the Rules for Your Move in Thailand
A national transport operator licence from the Department of Land Transport, held by a company that must be majority Thai-owned.
Before you rely on this
Thailand licenses the business of carrying goods for hire at the company level. The company that operates the trucks needs a transport operator licence from the Department of Land Transport (DLT), and a licensed company must be at least 51% owned by Thai nationals. International door-to-door moves that combine two or more modes of transport can also require registration as a multimodal transport operator. Always confirm current requirements directly before hiring a mover.
