Before you rely on this
Nepal licenses commercial goods transport nationally through the Department of Transport Management (DOTM) and local Transport Management Offices (TMOs), under the Motor Vehicles and Transport Management Act 2049. A moving company that operates its own vehicles needs a Transport Operator License and route permits for its commercial (yellow-plate) vehicles, on top of standard business registration; a mover that subcontracts the driving relies on its carrier’s licences. Always confirm current requirements directly before hiring a mover.
