Know the Rules for Your Move in Bulgaria
The standard EU licensing framework, held by the company that operates the vehicles, with a specific rule limiting how many companies one transport manager can direct.
Before you rely on this
Bulgaria licenses road haulage under the same EU Regulation 1071/2009 framework used across the EU. The cargo transport licence is issued by the Minister of Transport, on the proposal of the Executive Agency “Automobile Administration” (IAAA), under the Road Transport Act and Ordinance No. 33 of 1999, to the company operating the vehicles. Where a mover subcontracts the transport, the licence is held by the carrier performing it. Always confirm current requirements directly before hiring a mover.
