Consumer Issue Support System

A fair, simple and transparent way to work toward resolution with your IAMTrusted Mover.

For Consumers

What the CISS Is

IAMTrusted Movers want every move to go smoothly. If something goes wrong, our Consumer Issue Support System (CISS) provides a neutral space to work towards resolving an issue with your IAMTrusted Mover, prompting both parties to remain responsive and focused on working toward an agreeable outcome.

The Process

A Commitment to Responsiveness

  1. 1
    Select Your Mover

Begin by searching our directory to confirm that your mover is an IAMTrusted Moving Company. If eligible, you may proceed to file your dispute.

  2. 2
    Submit Your Dispute

Complete the dispute form with your mover's name, move dates, origin, destination, a summary of the issue and your requested resolution. Once you click Submit, your case is created and your mover is notified immediately. You will receive a case number and a secure link by email to track your case.

  3. 3
    Mover Response

Your mover must acknowledge within 7 calendar days of receiving the case notification. From the acknowledgment date, your IAMTrusted Mover will have 7 days to accept the requested resolution or submit their proposed resolution. If the mover does not respond, their company will be suspended from public display in the IAMTrusted Consumer Portal directory until a response is entered.

  4. 4
    Customer Response

You will be notified if an IAMTrusted Mover submits a proposed resolution, and you will have 7 calendar days to accept it or submit a counter proposal. Lack of response will result in closure of the case.

  5. 5
    Final Response

If a counter proposal was entered, your IAMTrusted Mover will have 7 days to accept or submit a best and final offer. If the mover does not respond, their company will be suspended from public display in the IAMTrusted Consumer Portal directory until a response is entered.

If no resolution is reached, all alternate dispute resolution options remain available.
