• Interim Certificate issued within 6–8 weeks of application; valid for 12 months before a potential audit or license renewal
• Movers must maintain:

  • Cargo insurance: $25,000/vehicle; $50,000 aggregate
• Must adhere to Maximum Rate Tariff No.4 for pricing regulation
• Before the move, movers are required to provide:
  • A written estimate
  • The state-issued “Moving Guide for Household Goods” pamphlet—shippers must acknowledge receipt in writing
